Cypress^® Ceramic Insulation Ring

In our Cypress® Ceramic Grill, the ceramic ring and bowl work as a unit within the grill.

Together they provide air flow for excellent cooking and insulation to keep the exterior surface from getting too hot. The ring sits on top of the bowl to support the cooking grate and other accessories. It is made of firebrick ceramic, and can withstand searing temperatures and extreme temperature changes. Because ceramic can be delicate, there are occasions (possibly when relocating the unit) when damage can occur. The good news is that the ceramic will continue to work even if it is cracked or chipped. However, if a part is damaged beyond use, our team is available to help replace your part.
